Note: I’ve changed the timeline a bit. In which Gunter Schmidt never came to Angel Grove, and Kim never left for the Pan Global Games. However, I’ve decided to keep Kat in, since she was a major key player when she was a villain, and when she turned the side of good. I’ve made it that Kat helped get Kim’s coin back, helped get Ninjor and the Falcon Zord back, but never became the Pink Ranger, just a good friend and a trusted ally to the Rangers. Kind of like what Rocky, Aisha, and Adam were before becoming Power Rangers. The following people helped me with these stories: Sandy Riedinger and Aaron Thall. Thanks guys.

Our story begins in the Youth Center of Angel Grove. Inside this popular teenage hangout, numerous teenagers are exercising with some equipment, others are playing video games, and other teenagers are just hanging out with friends.

One teenager in particular is sitting alone at a table near the Juice Bar. He has olive-colored skin, hazel eyes, long brown hair in a ponytail, white and black plaid shirt, and black pants on. Little did anyone know that this 17-year-old was Tommy Oliver, the White Ranger, and leader of the Power Rangers. He sat at the table, sipping his fruit shake, his mind concentrating on other matters.

"Penny for your thoughts?" said a sweet and familiar voice. Tommy looked up and saw into the beautiful face of his girlfriend, Kimberly Hart, otherwise known as the Pink Ranger. She had on a beautiful pink dress and a pair of spandex pink shorts underneath. Her light brown hair put up in a small ponytail.

"Oh, hi Kim. Have a seat, please." Tommy gestured to the seat across from him. Kimberly sat down, with a large grin on her face.

"What's up? You look distracted. What's on your mind?" Kim asked innocently.

Tommy looked into Kimberly’s eyes, and he felt that if he had to tell someone, it might as well be the woman he loves. "Well, first off, it’s no secret to anyone that I was adopted, right?” he asked matter-of-factly to Kim. Kimberly nodded in response, her face showing concern and seriousness.

Tommy then pulled out of his pocket an envelope. “Well, the other day I got this letter from some guy named Rick Summers. When I open the envelope, I pulled out the letter and this.” He hands Kimberly a small photograph, and the first reaction on her face is shock and disbelief.

“Tommy…. this is YOU!” Kimberly exclaimed, holding up the picture. The small photo had someone on there that looked amazingly like… Tommy, only he was wearing a green T-shirt, and a pair of black pants, leaning up against a tree outside in the daytime.

“That’s what I thought at first. But look on the back.” Kim turned the photo over, and read what was on the back. It said, ‘Feels like looking at yourself doesn’t it? Signed, Ricky Summers.’ “Evidently, this guys claims that he’s my twin brother.”

Kim had a look of surprise on her face when Tommy had told her this. She knew for a fact that Tommy was adopted, but no one, not even Tommy, knew whether he had any blood brothers or sisters. "Wow! That's great! Are you sure that this guy is for real?"

"He's for real. Somehow, he managed to get my phone number and he called me up the other day. I talked with him for two hours, and his voice sounded just like mine. He was adopted just like me. Apparently when our parents died, we got separated at birth. I never even knew he existed, but he knew about me, though. He said that his adopted parents told him that he had a blood brother that he got separated from when he was born. He began looking for me, and it took him a couple of months until he finally tracked me down. He's moving here to Angel Grove from Florida to stay with me and my family."

"When do you expect him to arrive?" Kim asked.

"He said he'd be coming today, but I'm not sure what time though," Tommy replied.

"Wow! That's really awesome. I can’t believe that you actually have a long lost twin brother. I can’t wait to meet him, well, that is, if you don’t mind that I wait with you?" Kimberly asked innocently with a smile on her face.

Tommy smiled back, leaned over the table and kissed her on the lips.

"Does that answer your question?" asked Tommy to his girlfriend. Kimberly could only just smile back at him.

Meanwhile in the palace on the moon, Lord Zedd was watching what was transpiring on Earth with his super vision. While his wife, Rita Repulsa, looked on with her Repulsascope. "So, that pathetic White Ranger is going to have a reunion with his long lost brother. How touching."

"You know Zeddy, I have an idea that may just help us defeat the Power Rangers," Rita said happily.

"Where have I heard that before?" said sarcastically by a seven-foot tall, snake-skinned, muscular creature wearing a black robe. This man was Master Vile, father to Rita Repulsa and Rito Revolto, and now father-in-law to Lord Zedd. "You two have said over and over how you had a sure fire way of defeating the Power Rangers. But it's always the same thing, you end up losing."

"Will you just shut up and listen for once, Vile? Besides, I happen to have the same idea in mind. Let's explain it to daddy, my little beetle blossom," Zedd said referring to Rita.

"Well dad, it's like this. You see, since Tommy's brother is coming to town, Zeddy and I thought it would be a great idea to capture Ricky, and turn him into one of us," Rita began to explain.

"We'll cast an evil spell over him, turning him against his brother, and making him loyal to us. But not only that, we'll give him the powers of the evil Green Ranger," Zedd finished.

"Sounds interesting, but there’s just one problem. The powers of the Green Ranger are gone... forever. How can you possibly make the White Ranger’s brother into the Green Ranger without the Green Ranger powers?" Master Vile asked impatiently.

"Well, that's where you come in, dad! I mean, with your vast knowledge of evil powers, there must be someone that can give Ricky the powers of the Green Ranger," Rita replied.

Master Vile began thinking for a moment, and finally he said, "I know of the perfect person to do the job. His name is.... Shogunar!" As he said his name, a clap of thunder and a bolt of lightning erupted outside the palace.

Zedd immediately recognized the name Master Vile had spoken. “Yes, I’ve heard of Shogunar. His exploits are practically legendary throughout the cosmos. If I’m not mistaken, he’s another Keeper of the Ninjetti powers, am I right?”

"Not only that, but Shogunar is Ninjor's brother. Both brothers learned the ways of Ninjetti, and mastered its power. However, Shogunar took it to the next level. He discovered that even beneath the peaceful serenity of the Ninjetti powers, there lied its dark side. He tapped into that dark side, and mastered it. Since then, Shogunar has dedicated his existence to using the powers of the Ninja to serve the dark forces. He lives in a temple on the planet WuShu, in the Shaolin Galaxy. For thousands of years he has trained many powerful warriors in the ways of the Dark Ninjetti, but he has never actually taken a protégé, someone to study under him. He has been waiting for the perfect time to find such a student, and I believe that this Ricky fellow may just be what Shogunar has been looking for. Once we capture Ricky, I shall summon Shogunar from his temple, and bring him here."

"Once Shogunar is here, and after we place Ricky under our evil control…” Rita said anxiously.

"Then it will be the end of the Power Rangers!! Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!" Lord Zedd finished as all three villains laughed in pure evil delight.

"Goldar, Rito!!" Zedd shouted.

Just then, a six-foot, gold-armored gorilla with large wings on his back and a six-foot, skeletal, yet muscular, soldier entered the Chamber of Commands. The gorilla was Goldar, Zedd and Rita’s most prized warrior, and the skeletal soldier was Rita's brother, Rito Revolto.

"You summoned us, master?" Goldar asked.

"You called, Ed?" Rito asked, once again not remembering Zedd's name, and calling him Ed.

Zedd and Rita explained to them about Tommy's twin brother Ricky, and about their plan to use Ricky as their weapon to destroy the Power Rangers. "Now don't screw up, you two!" Rita told them.

"We won't sis. Come on, Goldie," Rito replied as they both vanished into thin air.

Back on Earth, a Greyhound bus, filled with various passengers of different ages and nationalities, traveled down the California highway heading towards the city of Angel Grove. One of the various passengers was a young teenager around the age of seventeen. He wore a short sleeved plaid green shirt with a dark green shirt underneath, dark green pants and a green bandanna on his head. This particular teenager has olive-colored skin, hazel eyes, and long brown hair in a ponytail, making him closely resemble Tommy Oliver. The reason behind this is because he is Richard Summers, Tommy’s long-lost twin brother. Ricky looked out the window and watched the various cars drive down the highway. His eyes then went from the cars on the highway to the buildings as the bus approached the city of Angel Grove.

‘Man, it kinda looks like Miami now that I think about it. Only Miami is not really known for earthquakes, it’s known for the hurricanes. Plus that bastard foster father can’t touch me now that I’m out here. No more arguments, no more yelling, no more fights, no more beatings, no more being scared to even breathe without getting hit. This is my chance to start over, to really have a chance to live my life without being afraid. And even if I do get scared, I’ll have my brother by my side to help me. Brother. I still can’t believe that I actually have a twin brother. Man, there are so many things I want to ask him and so many things that I want to tell him too. I wonder if he trains in the martial arts like me? I wonder what kind of music he likes, if he’s into rap and hip-hop like me? I wonder if he’s had better luck in finding a girlfriend than I have? I wonder what type of life he’s had growing up, if he was lucky enough to grow up in a decent, stabile environment, with loving parents. I really hope so, it’s bad enough that I had to go through absolute hell growing up, but it would be so unfair for my own brother to have to go through the same thing. One of the things I’ll have to talk to him about once I’m settled in is what I went through growing up in Florida. Maybe, with his help, I’ll be able to somehow let go of the past and look forward to the future. God, I really hope so,’ Ricky thought to himself as the bus continued it’s long drive through the city of Angel Grove.

After about an hour or so, the bus finally arrived at its destination, a bus station just a few blocks away from the Youth Center. Ricky, along with a few others, got up from their seats, and left the bus. Ricky retrieved his luggage from a compartment on the side of the bus, and headed for the Youth Center by way of the park. He walked through the park, and took a moment to look around at his new surroundings. ‘Man, this place is beautiful. I wonder what else this town has to offer? Oh man, I can’t wait for Tommy to show me around. I mean, not only is this where my twin brother lives, but this is where the Power Rangers fight against evil space monsters. This is so fucking cool!!’

The two of them never grew up together, but Ricky felt a sort of connection with his brother. Tommy was his flesh and blood, and he felt deep within his heart that Tommy was very excited to meet Ricky. Ricky continued walking, carrying only one luggage bag. That is until he saw two flashes of light explode a few steps ahead of him and saw a six foot, gold-armored gorilla with large wings on his back walks in. Beside him is a six foot, skeletal, but muscular army soldier.

"Hey Goldie, this must be the guy Ed told us to kidnap! He looks just like Tommy!" the skeleton said to his gold friend.

"Of course he is, you bone head!" the one called Goldie said to his bone headed friend.

"Oh man, this is really weird. I don't know who you guys are, but if you think you're gonna take me prisoner, then you’ve got another thing coming," Ricky said to his would-be-kidnappers as he dropped his luggage, and got into an impressive looking fighting stance.

"TENGAS!!! Attack!" the skeleton soldier shouted, and at that moment, three Tenga Warriors appeared. Both Goldar and Rito had wanted more than just the three that were provided. But Zedd, Rita, and Master Vile each felt that three Tenga Warriors were more than adequate to take on one measly human. They also felt that ever since Master Vile gave the Tengas some special food to increase their strength, that three was really overkill when playing what amounted to softball with a normal human.

Ricky eyed each of the birdmen carefully. They were big, they were ugly, they were strong, and they pretty much outnumbered him. It was quite obvious that he wasn’t going to beat them with brawn alone. What the situation called for was a healthy dose of strategy. The first Tenga lunged itself at Ricky, cawing up a storm as it glided toward Tommy’s twin at high speeds. When it was close enough, Ricky quickly grabbed his bag from the ground and leapt up. As he came down behind the creature, he twisted around so he could see it again, and aimed so the strap of his bag would loop around the bird's neck. He landed feet first and yanked on his bag. The Tenga had let out a choked gasp as it suddenly found itself off-balance.

Furious by the human’s actions toward their comrade, the other two Tengas charged towards the young man together. Moving quickly, he spun the bag by it's straps to make a makeshift garrote around the first Tenga's neck, then swung the monster around, just in time to smack the other two Tengas in their beaks with the first one's birdlike feet. They both fell backwards, and landed onto the hard ground. The first Tenga nearly joined his brothers on the ground. But Ricky, still holding onto his bag tightly, pulled on it, thus yanking the bird back onto its feet. The next five seconds for the creature were a mixture of pain and embarrassment as Ricky delivered a rapid and relentless series of blows to its face. After the five seconds had passed, he stopped suddenly. He then loosened his bag's hold on the birdman’s neck and asked with a confident smile, "Had enough?"

"Uh huh...” said the Tenga Warrior in a cowardly, submissive tone.

"TOO BAD!" Before the Tenga could have a chance to react, Ricky had let go of his bag and boxed the Tenga's ears. He then backflipped, kicking the creature directly in the chest. As Ricky somersaulted, he grabbed his bag, thus pulling it off of the creature before it hit the ground, and thus eliminating it from the fight. Satisfied, Ricky leaned up against a nearby lamppost.

The other two Tengas had gotten back up and patted the dirt and dust off of their feathers. Afterwards, they both turned to look at the White Ranger’s brother and they were mad as hell. The second Tenga took to the air and charged at him. Instead of running, Ricky just stood there and watched as it barreled towards him. It came closer... Ricky still didn’t move a muscle. It rocketed towards him, but he still didn't move. 20 feet... 10 feet... 5 feet... and then, without warning, Ricky ducked. As he did so, the shocked Tenga warrior slammed headfirst right into the iron lamppost at top speed. The lamppost broke, falling over and sparking, while the Tenga slumped to the ground.

‘Two down, one to go. But the question is, where exactly is it?’ He turned quickly, but didn't see the final Tenga warrior anywhere in sight. It was quiet, too quiet for Ricky’s taste. Suddenly, the Tenga appeared right behind Ricky, and grabbed the unsuspecting teen, wrapping both arms around Ricky’s midsection. Reacting instantly, Ricky elbowed the creature in the ribs and stomped on its foot at the same time. Surprised more than injured, the Tenga let go. As he rolled to safety, the creature lunged, and he barely leapt to safety. This was beginning to become tiresome for Ricky. He smelled something burning, so he turned his head and saw the exposed wires from the lamppost still sparking with electricity. Just then, an idea popped into Ricky’s mind as he saw his only chance to end the fight. The Tenga ran towards him. He'd only get one chance at this, so he had to make it work. When it was half a second from stepping on him, he grabbed a still sparking wire and slammed it into the Tenga's foot. It shrieked in pain as the high voltage electricity coursed through its body, burning and sizzling both the Tenga’s internal organs, and its outer body. The smell reminded Ricky of barbecue chicken, and it made him a bit hungry. A few moments passed and the powerful Tenga Warrior slumped to the ground, smoldering slightly, smoke emanating from his body.

Ricky got up and wiped off the dust from his pants, and then bent down to pick up his luggage, not realizing that he should’ve been watching his back. Goldar and Rito snuck up behind Ricky and quickly grabbed him by the arms. The young teenager struggled to break free, but his efforts were in vain. A few moments later, all three of them vanished into thin air. As they teleported, all Ricky could think about was that he would never get a chance to meet his brother.

Meanwhile, back at the palace of Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa. The lovely couple stood beside Master Vile as Goldar and Rito returned to the palace with Tommy's twin brother, Ricky.

"Hey Ed, sis, pop, we got 'em just like you asked!" Rito shouted proudly as they dumped Ricky at the feet of the three evil beings.

"Well Goldar, you and that pathetic bag of bones Rito actually did something right. If you keep this up, I may not get mad at you for screwing up ever again," Zedd said to Goldar.

"Well son, I am very proud of you for not screwing up," Vile told his son Rito with a smile on his face.

"Aww shucks, pop," Rito replied, and if he had any skin, his face would have blushed.

Ricky looked up at the three faces of evil standing before him in the forms of Lord Zedd, Rita Repulsa, and Master Vile. He was a little scared, angry, and a little confused at what was going on. ‘All I wanted was to meet my brother, why is this happening to me? I swear these… freaks, are really gonna get it.’

Lord Zedd, Rita Repulsa, and Master Vile each stepped towards Ricky. Lord Zedd spoke first, with his Z-Staff in his left hand. "Welcome to your new home, Richard Summers! First, allow us to introduce ourselves. I am Lord Zedd, the Emperor of Evil."

"I'm Rita Repulsa, Empress of Evil, and the beloved wife of Lord Zedd."

"And I'm Master Vile, the Ultimate Master of All Evil. You already know my son Rito Revolto and his friend Goldar."

"Hey, I really don't care who or what you guys are, okay? And what do you mean ‘new home’? My new home is with my brother in Angel Grove. And to tell you the truth, this… place isn’t exactly my idea of ‘home sweet home’. Now, what do you guys want from me?"

Zedd stepped forward to Ricky. "You, my son, have been chosen to become the Green Ranger, and the new Prince of Darkness. You shall become our instrument of evil, and you will help us destroy your brother and the Power Rangers!"

"You want me to help you guys kill my brother and destroy the Power Rangers? Well, it’s pretty obvious why you want to destroy the Rangers; you are the guys that are trying to take over the world or something. I mean, I understand that much, but what does my brother have to do with this?" Ricky asked, a little confused.

This time Rita stepped forward, with a huge grin on her face. "Well, if you don't know, we might as well tell you. Your brother is a Power Ranger. In fact, he's the White Ranger."

Ricky's brown eyes became wide, with surprise and shock. ‘Holy shit! This is so unreal! My own brother is a Power Ranger? Man, I can’t believe it; my brother is fighting the good fight against these guys. Wow, that is so cool!’ Ricky thought about it for a brief moment, and he felt kinda proud to know that his brother was a Power Ranger. ‘Wait a minute… these guys still want me to kill Tommy, my own brother, my own flesh and blood. Oh God, I think I’m gonna be sick. I don’t wanna fight him, and I sure as hell don’t wanna kill him. He’s my brother for God’s sake!’ Needless to say, Ricky was utterly horrified at the very thought of being forced to fight his own brother. Even though he still didn’t get the chance to know Tommy well, what Ricky did know was that he wasn’t going to kill him. "Look, I am not going to become you're puppet in some plan to kill my brother. I just came here to Angel Grove to be with my brother; a person I didn’t even know existed until just a few months ago. I came here to be reunited with him, and I am not gonna let you fucking freakazoids force me to kill my own flesh and blood! You can take your Green Ranger powers, and shove it right up your ass!!" At that moment, Ricky just turned and walked away from the three of them.

As Ricky began to walk away from them, Zedd, Rita and Master Vile each pointed their magical wands at Ricky. At that moment, they released a combined blast of magical energy that froze Ricky in place. Goldar, Rito, Squatt, and Baboo just watched in awe and amazement at how the three evil forces worked together in stopping Tommy's defiant brother.

Master Vile looked at Ricky with a sense of approvement. "I have to say Zedd, you and Rita chose well. I sense that this mortal has an incredible fighting spirit, and he has a tremendous amount of hidden anger and hatred directed towards his foster father for the way he treated him. And hidden deep in his soul, I sense the briefest flicker of jealousy and animosity towards his twin brother. I believe that with the proper techniques, the right persuasion, and the right amount of magic, that this young man will succeed where the previous Green Rangers failed. I am proud of you both. Now that we have Tommy's brother, I must return to my ship in order to gather my strength and summon Shogunar. I shall return, make sure he doesn't go anywhere." With that, energy snakes enveloped his body, and Master Vile vanished back to his Skull Cruiser.

Meanwhile, at the Youth Center, Tommy and Kimberly were still inside. Only this time, they were joined by the rest of the Power Ranger team: Billy Cranston (Blue Ranger), Aisha Campbell (Yellow Ranger), Adam Park (Black Ranger), and Rocky DeSantos (Red Ranger). Billy was wearing a blue and white plaid shirt with black jeans. Aisha wore a yellow belly shirt along with a pair of blue overalls. Adam had on a black and white striped shirt, a black bandanna on his head, and a pair of black shorts. Rocky wore a red zipper down jacket, with a white shirt underneath, and a pair of bright red sweat pants. Each one gathers around the table to be with their friends.

"Hi guys, whatcha doing?" Aisha asked with a smile.

“Oh nothing, I just found Tommy sitting here waiting for his long-lost brother to show up,” Kimberly replied.

“A long lost brother, how interesting. You are quite fortunate Tommy, I myself wish I had a brother, I'm an only child in my family,” Billy said to his Power Ranger leader.

“I’m the oldest of five children, I’ve got two younger brothers and two younger sisters, but unfortunately, no twin brother,” Rocky said to them.

“Most of us here do have brothers and sisters, just no twins. So, this guy, is he really your twin? I mean, like identical?” Adam asked with a hint of curiosity in his voice.

“He says he looks like me, he even sent me his picture. I'm supposed to meet him today. But he still hasn't shown up yet.” Tommy glanced at Kimberly, then looked up at the others with a worried look on his face. “Guys, I gotta bad feeling about this."

The rest of the team looked at each other, and then looked at their leader. They were not only worried about Tommy's brother, but about Tommy himself. They were worried about what Tommy might do if something has happened to his brother.

Meanwhile, on a planet in a distant galaxy, deep within an ancient temple, a mysterious figure concealed in a large hooded cloak knelt in front an altar. The altar was decorated with burning candles and the skulls of various alien races. This mysterious cloaked figure seemed to be in some deep prayer or meditation, when all of a sudden a clap of thunder brought the dark figure out of his concentration and looked around the temple. He slowly stood up, extended his arms and slowly moved his hands through the space around him, as though trying to get a sense of what brought about the thunderclap. After a few moments passed, he stopped as if he found what he was looking for. Then as if sensing that something eventful was about to take place, the mysterious figure said only two words, “It’s time.” At that moment, the dark stranger grabbed the front of his cloak, and threw it off of his body. But before his identity could be revealed, the mysterious figure vanished just as the hooded cloak hit the floor.

Back at Vile's Skull Cruiser, the 9-foot tall master of evil began to build up incredible strength in his magical energies and began to cast his spell to summon Shogunar. "And so, I call upon to power of the Seven Moons Of Guntrè, I hereby summon the wisdom of the most evil warriors of the last ten millennia, and summon the greatest evil warrior of all time! Come forth.... SHOGUNAR!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!" Bursts of multi-colored lighting flashed across space, and even across the Earth's surface. And then, in a bolt of red lightning, a single warrior appears. This warrior resembled his brother Ninjor, but his robotic body is black, red, and gold. Shogunar has an 'S' on his chest, and his robotic body armor looked more fearsome, more deadly than his brother's. And his head takes on a more evil and terrifying robotic visage than Ninjor's. He kneeled before Master Vile, to show his respect.

"You have summoned me, oh great Master Vile. What is thy bidding?" Shogunar asks in a deep, raspy, ominous voice.

"Shogunar, not only have I need of your assistance, but my daughter, and my son-in-law have need of your services. Please, come with me." In a blink of an eye, they vanish from the Skull Cruiser back to the palace.

Meanwhile, back at the Youth Center, the Youth Center and the Earth itself were rocked by a sudden appearance of an unusual lightning storm. The lights in the Youth Center began flickering on and off as the people ran out frantically, screaming, and running into each other. Our heroes got up from the table, and looked around as the lights finally went out in the Youth Center. All they saw were flashes of multi-colored lightning that illuminated the Youth Center with an eerie glow. It was at this moment that the communicators on each of the Rangers' wrists went off. Since no one was around to see the Rangers, they had nothing to worry about.

"Zordon, we read you!" Tommy shouted into the communicator over the loud thunder claps from the unusual storm.

"POWER RANGERS, I NEED YOU AT THE COMMAND CENTER IMMEDIATELY!!"

"We're on our way! Come on guys, we gotta get to the Command Center, and see exactly what's going on!" Tommy said to his friends. They each touched a button on their communicators, and in six flashes of rainbow colored light, they vanished.

Inside the technological fortress that is the Command Center, the Rangers materialized. Upon their arrival, Alpha-5, robotic assistant to their mentor, Zordon, greeted them. Their friend & ally, the Master of the Ninjetti Powers, Ninjor, also greeted them. “Greetings Power Friends. We are all glad that you arrived so quickly. We believe we might have another crisis on our hands.”

“THANK YOU NINJOR! RANGERS, WE HAVE DETECTED AN UNUSUAL BUILD-UP OF POWER ORIGINATING FROM OUTER SPACE. MORE SPECIFICALLY, FROM MASTER VILE'S SKULL CRUISER!!” Zordon said to the Rangers.

“That explains that thunder storm that happened a few minutes ago.” Adam said to the others.

“ALPHA & I HAVE MONITORED THIS UNNATURAL PHENOMENON, AND WHAT WE HAVE DISCOVERED IS VERY DISTURBING!!” Zordon said to the Rangers.

“Well, what exactly did you find that could be so disturbing, Zordon?” Billy asked, adjusting his glasses.

“Aye-yi-yi! This is unbelievable!” Alpha cried out as he worked on the computers to calculate all the data.

“ALL OF YOU, OBSERVE THE VIEWING GLOBE!” Zordon said to the Rangers, as they turned around and looked into the globe.

They saw streams of electrical energy surround the main corridor of the Skull Cruiser, and after a moment or so, an evil being appeared.

"Who is that guy?" Aisha asked.

"That is Shogunar, the Master of the Dark Ninjetti Powers." Ninjor replied.

The Rangers turned around and they all looked at Ninjor with a strange look on their faces. None of them could believe that this Shogunar person was another ninja master that held the key to another side of the Ninjetti power.

"Ninjor, how can this guy be a master of the Ninjetti powers? We thought that you were?" Rocky asked.

Ninjor looked at the Rangers with a disturbed look in his eyes. "I am only the master of the Light Ninjetti powers, while Shogunar is master of the Dark Ninjetti powers. For you see, Shogunar... is my brother."

"What? You mean like that guy we saw in the Viewing Globe is YOUR brother? Oh man, this is really intense." Kim said.

“But Ninjor, if he is your brother,” Tommy asked, “How did he get like this?”

Ninjor took a deep breath & looked away from the Rangers, trying to get his thoughts in order before he began telling the story. “It happened many years ago, when the battle between good & evil first began. My brother & I were born to a pair of ninja masters, two of the original keepers of the Ninjetti power. They trained us both as we grew up. During that time, I noticed my brother changing ever so slightly. Once our training was complete, we became the new masters of the Ninjetti. Our parents wanted us to fight against the dark forces in the war. I was willing, but unfortunately my brother wasn’t. He felt that the powers he was given and the abilities he possessed should be used to conquer & destroy. So in the years that followed, my brother began distancing himself from our parents, and me. He went into seclusion, and began doing extensive research in trying to discover if there was a dark side to the Ninjetti powers. We tried to talk some sense into him, but he wouldn't listen. Then finally, he emerged from seclusion, proclaiming that he had discovered the dark side to the Ninjetti power. That's when he decided to join the dark side and assist any & all evil forces. It was my duty to use my abilities to bring peace to the universe. Over the following years, I fought my brother in numerous battles, each using the powers we possessed against one another. But each encounter ends up the same, we never seem able to defeat each other, we are too evenly matched. We are the perfect example of how one person can't exist without the other. I'm good, he's evil. Two forces destined to fight each other for all eternity." Ninjor has a sad look in his eyes. The Tommy put his hand on Ninjor's shoulder, and gave him a smile to let him know that it was all right. Ninjor turned back around and faced the Rangers. “You see, I’ve always loved my brother, we grew up together, we always did things together, we were there for each other. I tried to convince him that following down the path of darkness would only lead to his destruction, but he wouldn’t listen. My own brother wouldn’t even listen to me. Every time I encountered him, I tried my best to bring him back to the side of goodness, but he always attacked me, and I had no choice but to defend myself. It hurt me very much to have to fight my own brother, a person I’ve loved for many years, and grew up with, and hoped to work alongside with as a fellow Ninjetti master. It still hurts me to this day to have to fight against him. But, I no longer have a choice, it is my duty to battle the forces of darkness, and to uphold the light & purity of the Ninjetti power.”

“Man, we had no idea how serious this was for you Ninjor.” Aisha said to him.

“Yeah, I mean having to fight your own flesh & blood. I can’t even imagine how that would feel.” Rocky said, with a look of shock & disgust on his face.

Just then, a thought struck Billy’s mind as he turned to look up at Zordon. "Zordon, I think I know what's happening. Master Vile summoned Shogunar to help Zedd & Rita in their efforts to destroy us."

"THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WE SUSPECTED!! WITH THE COMBINED FORCES OF ZEDD, RITA, MASTER VILE, AND SHOGUNAR, IT MAY BE MORE THAN YOU CAN HANDLE POWER RANGERS!!!"

"That may be Zordon, but we've faced tougher challenges before, and we've always managed to come out on top. I think we're strong enough to handle this, right guys?" Adam asked his fellow Rangers.

"Adam's right, besides we have Ninjor on our side. And you know what they say, 'Good always triumphs over evil'." Aisha said confidently with a smile.

The other Rangers just smiled at each other, and knew that what Aisha said was true. No matter how strong a monster they faced, no matter what the odds of survival or victory were, the Power Rangers never gave up hope and always hung in there.

Back at the Palace, Zedd, Rita, Master Vile, and the other henchmen were gathered around to greet their new visitor, Shogunar. Shogunar shook hands with Goldar, Rito, Lord Zedd, and Rita Repulsa. "It will be a great honor to work with you all. I will do whatever is necessary to assist you in destroying these.... Power Rangers." Shogunar then bowed in respect to his masters.

They all smiled in admiration of Shogunar's ambition. Zedd signaled for the Tengas to bring in the still frozen Ricky Summers. "Shogunar, we wish for you to give this young man the dark Ninjetti powers of the Green Ranger." Zedd requested.

“It will be a great pleasure for me to do so. But, you must understand my lord, that this is a very unique & unusual situation.” Shogunar said to them.

“How so?” Rita asked, confused.

“You see Empress Rita, I am only able to train those who are willing to be trained. And it is quite obvious to me, that this young mortal is unwilling to be trained. That is why it is such a unique & unusual situation. Only those people whose hearts are as black as night and their souls are filled with dark emotions can be candidates to receive the powers of the Dark Ninjetti. However,” Shogunar began to say as he approached the frozen figure that was Tommy’s twin brother. “I do sense great potential for darkness in this young mortal. I sense a deep hatred for an abusive foster father, and I also sense, buried deep in his subconscious, a brief flicker of jealousy directed towards his twin brother. Yes, this is good, very good indeed.” He then turned back towards Zedd, Rita, and Vile. “He will do just fine my masters, he will be perfect to become the next Green Ranger.”

“Excellent Shogunar, now, we must place a spell on him at once to bring forth his dark side.” Lord Zedd announced.

“Wait. If you intend on bringing out Ricky’s dark side, then I must insist that this particular situation be dealt with carefully.” Shogunar said to all three dark wizards.

“What do you propose we do?” Master Vile asked, wondering what it was that Shogunar had in mind.

“I propose that all three of you,” Shogunar said pointing to Master Vile, Zedd & Rita, “combine your magical powers, and direct it towards me. I will then use that combined magic, and channel it towards young Ricky. Once that happens, I shall enter his mind and use my influence to twist & distort his perception of the truth, in order to gain access to his dark side. Once his dark side is brought to the surface, I shall then place within his possession the Dark Ninjetti powers of the Green Ranger.” Shogunar explained.

“An excellent proposition Shogunar. With our powers working together, united as one, we shall make him the perfect dark soldier." Master Vile smiled.

“Excellent! Plus, there'll be no way for those pathetic Power Geeks to break this spell! It'll be just too strong for them to break, and when they realize that there is nothing they can do to, it’ll be too late!! Hahahahahahahaaaaaa!!!!" Rita cackled in extreme evil joy.

“Now, let's get this show on the road!!” Zedd pronounced to them all. Just then, Zedd, Rita, and Vile stood side-by-side with each other in front of Zedd’s throne, with Shogunar a few feet in front of them, and the frozen form of Richard Summers a few feet in front of Shogunar.

Lord Zedd then raised his staff in Shogunar’s direction. "I, Lord Zedd, Emperor Of Evil, and loving husband to Rita Repulsa, hereby say the following words: May darkness corrupt the light that lies within your soul, and may that darkness give you strength & pleasures you have never experienced before!" His staff began to glow with intense magical energies.

Rita stepped forward, and raised her magic wand in Shogunar’s direction also. "I, Rita Repulsa, Empress Of Evil, daughter of Master Vile and loyal wife to Lord Zedd, hereby say the following words: On your journey to the dark side, may you gain all the aspects of being evil!! And let these aspects show you the true nature of what it is to be evil!" Just as Zedd's staff did, Rita's magical wand began to glow with evil energy.

Finally, Master Vile stepped forward and slowed raised his magical scepter in Shogunar’s direction. "I, the great & powerful Master Vile, Ruler Of The M-51 Galaxy and father to Rita Repulsa, Rito Revolto, and father-in-law to Lord Zedd, hereby say these words: May our combined energies give you powers & wisdom to guide you in your destiny as the Prince Of Darkness. And may you live forever, so that you may continue to use that power and wisdom to carry out great evil deeds!!"

At that moment, the multi-colored streams of electrical, magical energies from all three staffs lashed out, and hit Shogunar in the center of his back. After about a moment or two passed, Shogunar’s body began to glow with crimson energy. He slowly stretched his arms out in front of him, pointed his hands at the Ricky’s frozen form, and unleashed a powerful stream of multi-colored energy at Tommy’s twin brother.

“I, Shogunar, Master of the Dark Ninjetti, along with the forces of darkness, call out to you Richard Summers. We call out to your dark side, to the darkness that lies deep within your soul, the dark side that knows the truth. The dark emotions within you that resent your foster father for abusing you and the jealousy you feel because your brother grew up in a stable home, while you grew up in a broken environment. Unleash your rage Ricky, and you shall be rewarded with great strength & power! Unleash the darkness from within your heart, and you shall become the new Green Ranger!” Shogunar proclaimed as the stream of multi-colored energy suddenly changed to just one color, that being a blast of dark green energy.

Just at that moment, Ricky’s frozen form began to glow with an aura of fiery, green energy. Shogunar lowered his arms, as he & the rest of the occupants in the room watched on in awe & amazement as the fiery aura around Ricky’s body began to grow brighter & hotter. It eventually became so bright, that Zedd, Rita, Master Vile, Shogunar, Goldar, Rito, Squatt, and Baboo had to raise their hands in order to shield their eyes.

A minute or so passed, and the green glow became dimmer & dimmer, until finally it disappeared altogether. The occupants within the Chamber of Commands each lowered their hands, and were startled to see Ricky Summers standing before them, unfrozen, with his hands on his hips, and wearing a Ninjetti uniform… a dark green Ninjetti uniform. Ricky pulled back the hood of his Ninjetti outfit, letting his new long, dark green hair shine, and then pulled down the mask that covered up the bottom half of his face to reveal a wicked & evil smile. “Honey, I'm home.” Ricky said as he slowly let out an evil chuckle, which erupted into a maniacal laugh.

All the occupants of the room joined together in the laughter as their laughs echoed endlessly into the halls of the Chamber of Commands, throughout the entire palace, and even in the soundless void of space.

Ricky looked down at his Ninjetti uniform and smiled in approval, he then approached his evil masters, and Goldar & Rito with an evil grin on his face. “Well, this certainly is an interesting predicament. Who would’ve thought that I could go from being an average teenager, to being a warrior of the dark forces, I must say that I am truly honored.” Ricky said to them with a touch of humility.

“As we are equally honored to have you serve the dark forces young Richard.” Lord Zedd said to him.

“You will indeed make a fine successor to the Green Ranger power, Richard Summers. I have every confidence that you will use the power that I have placed in your possession to the fullest. And I shall continue to train you, and help you become stronger, and experience more power than you ever dreamed possible.” Shogunar said to his young protégé.

Ricky looked at his mentor & teacher, and smiled. “I like the sound of that. Anything that can get me closer to exacting my revenge on my pathetic twin brother, and that can help me destroy the rest of those Power Rangers, is just fine by me. You know, he had it easy, he's got great parents, great friends, a girlfriend that adores him, and I ain't got shit! The parents I got stuck with weren't exactly Ward & June Cleaver. My Mom was okay; she at least gave a damn about me. But not my old man. He was nothing but a fucking pathetic drunk. He got his jollies by beating the shit outta me. That's why I decided to come here, to find my brother, and kill him.”

“And you will have your chance very soon my boy. Trust me.” Master Vile told Ricky.

“I can’t wait to get my hands on him, and beat the life right out of his body.” Ricky said with a menacing tone to his voice, as he pounded his right fist into the palm of his left hand. “As for the rest of them, they won’t know what hit them.”

“You know Goldie, this guy is kinda cool. It's gonna be awesome to have this guy on our team, don't you think?” Rito whispered to his friend.

“He sure has a lot of spirit in him, I like that in a warrior. Fighting side-by-side with him will be a most... memorable experience.” Goldar replied.

Zedd looked at his wife, and caressed her cheek. “What say you my darling, shall we present our newest warrior with his gifts, or should we prolong the inevitable?” Zedd asked.

Rita looked on at the new Green Ranger and couldn’t help holding back tears of evil joy. “No, we shouldn't prolong it any longer sweety. Let's give our beloved son his presents.” Rita said to Zedd, with an arm around her husband’s waist as they both looked on and saw the person that could very well bring an end to the Power Rangers once & for all.

Zedd nodded in agreement as both he & Rita stepped towards Ricky. “We're all very proud of you my son. And now, Green Ranger, step forward.” Zedd said to Ricky. He then kneeled down in front of both Rita & Zedd, as Zedd placed his staff on Ricky's shoulder. “You, Ricky are now the new Prince of Darkness, you will be at my side as this family takes over the Earth, and then the galaxy. Not only that, you are now the heir to my throne.”

Ricky looked up, and smiled at Lord Zedd. “It is an honor I accept with open arms, my lord. I swear, on the power of darkness, that I will do my best to make you proud & not to let any of you down. Now that I have the power of the Green Ranger, the Power Rangers won't stand a chance.”

At that moment Master Vile and Shogunar came to Zedd & Rita’s side. “Rise Green Ranger, extend your hand to the sky and accept the recreated Sword of Darkness.” Master Vile said as Ricky rose his hand to the air, and Vile aimed his staff at Ricky, and shot out magical energy at his hand. And suddenly, the once destroyed Sword of Darkness now appeared in Ricky’s hand.

Ricky slowly lowered his hand with his new Sword of Darkness, admired the deadly craftsmanship of the sword itself, and smiled a cruel smile in approval. “Thank you Master Vile! Thank you all very much! Soon, I shall have my revenge on my brother & the Power Rangers will be destroyed! And then, the universe will be ours! Hahahahahahahahahahaaaaa!!!!!!” He laughed as green electrical energy shot out from the sword in all directions. The others let out laughs of evil joy, as they released colorful streams of magical energy in all directions of the Chamber of Commands.

Lord Zedd & Rita stepped forward. “But the best is still yet to come my son.” Rita replied. “You see the Prince of Darkness needs a queen to rule by his side, a warrior queen in fact. Ricky, I present to you, your new queen... SCORPINA!!!!!!!”

With that, a large set of iron doors opened, and fog rolled out onto the floor as a familiar woman stepped out of the darkness & the fog. She possessed a slim, athletic, but shapely figure, long black hair, fair skin, Asian features, and wore a yellow & black leotard. She also wore a small golden helmet on her head, golden boots, a golden piece of armor that covered her entire left arm, and a silver chestplate. She also carried a large curved sword with her. When she saw Ricky, she smiled seductively. Scorpina had been given permission to explore the galaxy, to plunder & pillage, to kill & enjoy the thrill of conquest in other parts of the cosmos for quite some time. Just recently, she had been summoned back to the palace and was informed on the current situation. Suffice it to say Scorpina embraced the opportunity with open arms. As she looked Tommy’s twin over, she had to admit to herself that the resemblance between Ricky & Tommy was unbelievable. However, she personally thought that Ricky looked a lot more handsome than his brother did.

Ricky looked at Scorpina and was at a lost for words, her beauty simply exuded strength & evil cruelty. Ricky loved it, and being that she was to be his queen and fight by his side, that made things even better. He walked over to Scorpina, and walked around her, admiring her beauty. “Well, well, well, aren’t you the prettiest thing I've seen this side of the galaxy.”

“You flatter me so, my prince. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Scorpina, your new queen.” She extended her hand to him.

“Scorpina, such a lovely name, for such a lovely warrior.” Ricky placed his sword on the ground as he took her hand, and kissed it softly. “You & I together will be an unstoppable team, my darling. All who cross our paths shall be crushed beneath our feet.” Ricky said to her as he held her hand and pulled her close to his body.

“Yes, and together my darling prince, we shall light the dark cosmos with the fires of destruction, and drench entire planets in the blood of their inhabitants. And, we shall place upon the walls of this palace the heads of each member of the Power Rangers! Oh, it shall be a glorious sight, my prince.” Scorpina replied, lightly caressing one side of Ricky’s face with the claws of her gauntlet covered hand.

“Oh yes, yes indeed.” Ricky replied as he caressed Scorpina’s face with his free hand.

“Now that the two of you have gotten well acquainted, we must now begin preparations for introducing our new Green Ranger to the Power Rangers. Don't you agree, daddy meanest?”

Master Vile stepped forward. “Of course, the combined forces of myself, you my darling daughter, and Zedd, along with Shogunar, the new Prince of Darkness, and Scorpina, those pathetic teenagers won't stand a chance.” At that moment, everyone in the room let out laughs of evil glee throughout the Chamber of Command.

Meanwhile in the Command Center, the Rangers & Ninjor were still working on trying to discover what it was that Zedd, Rita, Master Vile, and Shogunar could possibly be planning. The Rangers, still in civilian clothing were all pacing around in circles with Ninjor, while Billy worked with Alpha calculating all possible scenarios for what the mentioned villains might have in store.

“Ninjor, you said that Shogunar is the master of the evil Ninjetti powers, right?” Tommy asked.

“Yes.” Ninjor replied.

“Well, how are the Dark Ninjetti powers different than the powers you gave us?” Kimberly asked.

“The light Ninjetti powers that I bestowed upon you when I gave you your new Power Coins, are based on the animal spirits that you are born with. In addition, the basis of using the power to fight against evil, relies on you calling upon the strength and wisdom of your respective animal guide. The Dark Ninjetti powers that my brother discovered, and ultimately mastered, work differently. They work differently in the sense that there are no animal spirits involved, only raw emotions. Dark emotions are the basis of gaining the Dark Ninjetti power, by unleashing a person’s anger, rage, hatred, greed, and lust. Basically, everything that goes against the purity of the Light Ninjetti powers.” Ninjor explained as he spat out that last part, as it was obvious that it disgusted him to even think about it.

“Is it possible that Shogunar may try to recruit teenagers to become evil Ninja Rangers?” Tommy asked.

“It is possible, my brother has trained others in the evil ways of the Ninjetti before. And it is probably the reason why Master Vile summoned Shogunar here in the first place.” Ninjor replied.

“Oh man, more evil Rangers. All these evil duplicates are giving me a headache. I think I've had my share of evil Power Rangers if you don't mind.” Kimberly said.

“Guys... I think I have an idea, but it's probably stupid.” Adam said nervously and without much confidence.

“Come on Adam, just tell us. We need to calculate & anticipate any & all possible plans that the gang on the moon might come up with.” Rocky said to his friend.

“All right, I was thinking, maybe, just maybe, that Shogunar has come here to test out his evil powers not only on Ninjor but on us as well. I mean, he must have heard about us, and that Ninjor trained us in the ways of Ninjetti. Maybe he came here not only to fight his brother, but to fight us, to see if we can stand up against his power.” Adam explained.

Billy turned around from the computer console. “Adam, that's one plan that I haven't thought of, I'll input that scenario into the computer along with the other scenarios already inputted.” Billy gave Adam a smile of reassurance, and turned back to work on the computers.

Adam released a sigh of relief at knowing that he did something to help out. Ninjor approached Adam, and placed his hand on his shoulder. “Adam, you've got a lot of wisdom trapped within you. You are truly wise beyond your years, you just don't know it yet.”

“Thanks Ninjor.” Adam replied with a smile.

Just then the Command Center's attack alarm began to sound off, the Rangers & Ninjor looked around in confusion. “What’s going on Zordon?” Aisha asked.

“EVERYONE, LOOK INTO THE VIEWING GLOBE!!” Zordon ordered everyone.

The Rangers & Ninjor looked into the images that began to form within the Viewing Globe. They saw Angel Grove Park, and saw that an army of Tenga warriors was chasing out many innocent civilians. Then, after the coast was absolutely clear, Shogunar, Goldar, Rito, and Scorpina appeared, holding a beat up human, wrapped in chains. Then, Rito placed the battered human up against a nearby tree. Goldar pulled his head up, and Tommy immediately saw who it was. “Guys, its Ricky, my brother.”

“Zedd & Rita must’ve captured Ricky, in order to lure you into a trap.” Billy surmised.

“And they’ve got Goldar, Rito, Scorpina, and Ninjor’s brother guarding him. Guys, we gotta get to him.” Kimberly suggested.

“But Billy said that it might be a trap.” Adam protested.

“Guys, that's my brother out there. I don't care if it's a trap or not, we gotta go save him. But first, we gotta deal with those Tengas, afterwards we'll take care of those four and rescue my brother. Well, it looks we're going into Ninjetti Mode guys. You ready Ninjor?” Tommy asked.

“Ready when you are Tommy.” Ninjor reassured the White Ranger.

“Good luck everybody. And be careful.” Alpha said to them.

“Okay guys, let’s do it. NINJA RANGER POWER, NOW!!” Tommy signaled, as the Rangers traced a circle in the air with their hands, while leaving a trail of colored energy behind. Each of the Rangers thrust their hands out in front, much as they do when holding their morphers, and in flashes of multi-colored light, they were dressed in their Ninjetti uniforms. Our heroes were then immediately transported to Angel Grove Park.

Upon their arrival, the Rangers & Ninjor, each went into an impressive and intimidating fighting stance. A moment later, in unison, they flipped into battle. Tommy attacked first; jumping over a Tenga and kicking it in the back while Kimberly faded into the ground and came up directly UNDER a Tenga. Needless to say, the end result hurt the bird creature a lot more than the Pink Ninjetti Ranger.

Adam grabbed two Tengas and spun them around like two humanoid tops, until he drilled them both into the ground, where he left them up to their necks in the dirt.“It's a dirty job, and I'm glad to have a hand in it!”

Aisha was a little more wary of the Tengas. She knew that their powers had been increased recently, so she took no chances. Instead of being fancy, she merely flashed back and forth at lightning speed, striking three Tengas over and over again until they could no longer stand, much less fight. When she was done, she just looked at the fallen Tengas and shook her head in disappointment.

Rocky, however, waded in with merry abandon, taking great joy in leaping on one of the Tengas and, with the use of his Ninjetti powers, plucking it bald. “HEY BIRDBRAIN! Feel a draft down there?” Then he leapt off, kicking it in the head at the same time.

Kim struck one Tenga in the shoulder, but the creature grabbed her. A second one came in and hit her hard, hoping to knock her down. Unfortunately, only her Ninjetti uniform landed on the ground. The Tengas looked at each other with puzzled expressions. As they noticed a shadow looming over them, they looked up and saw the Pink Ninjetti Ranger, grown to gigantic proportions. “Polly’s gonna get pulverized!” Kim shouted to the two Tengas, as she reached down and crushed them in the palm of her hand.

Ninjor lashed out with his katana placed firmly in both hands, striking Tengas left and right. Feathered body parts flew in all directions, none on their own power. “Now you face Ninjor, defender of the Ninjetti Powers, and none shall stand in my way, fiends! Take THAT!” Ninjor shouted at his foes as he used his katana blade and sliced a Tenga in half.

Tommy performed a tornado kick to the beak of one Tenga soldier, throwing it off balance long enough for him to hit it with a Ninjetti fireblast. The bird went flying backwards, where it slammed into a tree headfirst, and fell to the ground. Needless to say, it remained there on the ground. “You mess with my brother, and now you’re messing with me! KI-YA!!!” Tommy shouted as he leapt forward, delivering a devastating split kick to both Tengas, and broke their necks in the process. Both Tengas landed hard so hard onto the ground, that they exploded. Tommy noted that he wished he could beat Zedd and Master Vile so easily. But for the moment, these monsters would more than suffice. Without further pause, Tommy turned, grabbed another Tenga, and sent a surge of energy through it, electrocuting the powerful birdlike creature. ‘These freaks are going to pay for what they did to my brother. This isn’t just business as usual, now it was personal.’ Tommy thought to himself as he watched the Tenga become nothing more than pile of ashes.

Kim and Aisha were teaming up on three Tengas now, bashing the monsters' heads together with enough force to break their beaks. Adam & Billy created Ninjetti powered tornadoes that caused a few of the Tenga soldiers to be thrown to various parts of the park, as if they were nothing more than rag dolls. Rocky focused his mental energies, reached out with his mind, and took control of several of the Tengas. Once he accomplished this, he turned the Tengas against each other. Suffice it to say, the feathers were flying.

Ninjor slowly approached the remaining Tengas, as he did so his hands began to glow with an electric blue light. “Send a message to your masters.
