Space Station - Sickbay

The station is buzzing with alerts. Monitors flash red status bars. But inside sickbay it's quiet as The Omega Rangers, Colt (Gold), Mia (Orange), Ule (Grey), Dais (Green), and Dulcea (Silver) are laying in the repair beds bed still healing from the battle with Ivan Ooze. Colt eager to get back into the frey attempts to get up from his hospital bed. Colt staggers as his feet touch the ground. Dulcea helps steady him.

Dulcea: Easy... easy. His power... it hasn't faded in the centuries.

Mia: Who was that purple creep?

Dulcea: You do not know him by name. But on Phaedos, he was whispered about. A primordial corrupter. A shapeshifting tyrant of chaos.

Colt: Ivan Ooze.
(holds side)
And he wiped the floor with all of us.

The five Parallaxes come in. White first, then Green, Blue, Red, Gold.

Parallax White: We just came to check in and see how y'all were feeling.

Dulcea: We're healing our leader on the other hand refuses to be still long enough for the healing machines to work.

Colt (quiet): He beat us. Straight-up beat us.

The Parallaxes exchange looks - all feeling the same thing at the same time: concern and love for Kat, who has now joined them with the Zeo Rangers behind her.

Kat and Tommy kneel beside Colt.

Colt: I can't shake it. All that training...all those battles...It's like it didn't mean anything. He smacked us around like we were insects.

Tommy: You fought well Bro. You had no idea what you were up against. You know what they say no one ever loses, you either win or you learn.

Colt: Well I definitely feel like a loser right now.  

Kat: Would everybody mind giving Colt and I a minute? 

The Zeo Rangers leave and the Omega Rangers go back to their beds.

Kat: Doc can you throw up a privacy force field

Doctor: Sure thing.

The Privacy force field goes up.

Kat: Colton Oliver, how long have we been friends?

Colt: Since they formed the League probably.

Kat: The entire time I've been with Blade. All he ever talked about was how proud he was of his brother. His big brother Tommy and his Twin Brother Colt.

Colt: Yeah that sounds like him.

Kat: At first I thought it was vanity, how could someone actually be close to a clone of themselves.  All day and night Colt this and Colt that. Stories upon stories about this brother leading a Ranger Team off world. Then the Reckoning, and the League, sometimes I swear he formed it as an excuse to bring you in closer to him and then that dinner in the mess hall where he I FINALLY got to meet the Amazing Colton Oliver. I thought it'd be just Blade in stereo for an hour. But then I started listening and all the stories made sense. How you broke yourself away from Zedd's spell, how you were in the trenches together on Earth and Phaedos. How he passed the Omega Rangers to you and you thrived as their leader he was always beaming when your name came up. But I think the thing he was proudest of was the work you put in to be your own person. The way you were there for everyone when Blade almost died, the way you brought everyone together when Blade never left the station or took his helmet off.  Everyone knows you and loves you and believes in you. So did Blade. He knew that if something went wrong YOU would be the one to lead us. He didn't make you second in command because you're him. He did it because you're you.

The beds beep Colt chuckles

Colt: That monologue was so I could lay here long enough for the repair bed to heal me.

Kat: You got me. But I meant every word. Get moving Acting Chairman, we've got work to do. 

Dark Fortress - Throne Room

Sinestro is on his throne lighting a cigar with his ring. As Lord Zedd, Rita, and Divatox enter.

Zedd: Lord Sinestro. We are wondering if it will ever be time for us to strike.

Sinestro: Patience my associates. Ooze grows stronger by the day. Let's watch him work.  

Space Station - Colt's office

Colt sits alone, going over battle plans, Parallax Blue approaches.

Parallax Blue: You're calculating. I can tell. Your brain's firing off scenarios at light speed.

Colt: I lost. My whole team lost. I'm supposed to hold the League together, and I

Parallax Blue: Stop. Just... stop. Losing is data. We adapt.

Parallax Red leans in from behind.

Parallax Red: And adapting is something "we" meaning all six of us do pretty damn well.

Parallax White hops up on the railing.

Parallax White: Remember when Blade first picked up the Golden Sword? Dude tripped into destiny. You think he knew what he was doing?

All five Parallaxes speak simultaneously with the same voice:

All Parallaxes: "We figure it out."

Colt smirks. The first real smile since the battle.

Dulcea walks into the office

Dulcea: You called

Colt: I did. Give us the room guys

The Parallaxes walk out. 

Colt: I can't shake the fact that I know nothing about this guy all those years on Phaedos and he never came up.

Dulcea: When he was sealed the planet thought it was permanent, better sold as a myth than reality. Why burden our Planet's Power Rangers with an enemy that they would never face?

Colt: Well he's here now and we can't afford to be caught with our pants down again. The only place that we may be able to find answers is Phaedos. 

Dulcea: Agreed.

Colt: Alpha get a ship ready set a trajectory to Phaedos.

Phaedos - Nightfall

A haunting, ancient world. Mist sweeps through a glowing forest. The Omega Rangers ship lands.

Ule: Always good to be home, I do wish it was under better circumstances.

Dais: Last time I was here it was warmer...

Dulcea: He draws from this place. Ivan Ooze was entombed on Phaedos for ages until the command energies weakened.

Mia: So we're walking into his old backyard. Great.

Dulcea kneels, touching the ground.

Dulcea: I can feel it... power residue. Chaotic, corrosive.

Ule: So basically a big cosmic burp.

Mia: Please don't describe ancient evil like that.

They press deeper.

Phaedos - The Ooze Pit

A crater glowing purple. The ruins of an old monolith.

Dulcea kneels, eyes full of old sorrow.

Dulcea: This is where... long ago... Ivan was sealed. Before the Rangers before you. Before even Zordon's great war.

Colt steps forward.

Colt: If he was sealed once, we can seal him again.

Suddenly the pit erupts - purple lightning spews upward. Ivan Ooze rises from the center, grinning wickedly.

Ivan Ooze:
Well, if it isn't the Phaedos B-Team!

Colt: It's Morphin Time!

Mia: OMEGA ORANGE!
Ule: OMEGA GREY!
Dais: OMEGA GREEN!
Dulcea: SILVER WARRIOR!
Colt: GOLD GLADIATOR!

Colt: OOZE! ROUND TWO!

Ivan: Please. I barely stretched in round one.

He flicks his fingers. A shockwave blasts the Omega Rangers off their feet. The fight is brutal.

Ivan swats Dais and Ule aside, cages Mia in a purple crystal, dissolves tree trunks with a wave of his hand. Dulcea duels him hand-to-hand but is overwhelmed by his fluid, acidic style.

Ivan winds up a finishing blast

Colt leaps in front of all of them.

The blast crashes into Colt's shield. Colt screams in pain, but stands firm.

Colt (growling):
I'm... not... losing TWICE!

A gold aura erupts.

Colt thrusts his hand forward.

Colt:
GOLD GLADIATOR...
OMEGA FLARE- NOW!

The combined blast slams Ivan through the trees, burying him in the crater.

Aftermath - Ruins of the Pit

Ivan is gone teleported by someone unknown.

Colt falls to one knee. Dulcea helps him.

Dulcea: Where's Ooze

Colt: Dissapeared.

Dulcea: That was... reckless.

Colt: That was necessary.

Space Station - Sickbay

Later that night, Billy, Trini, and science techs continue working on reintegration technology.

Parallax (White) wanders close.

Parallax White: Hi Billy? Working on bringing us back together I see.

Billy: I'm not sure how we're going to do it, but we're going to do it.

Parallax White: May I ask you something?

Billy: Of course.

Parallax White (quiet):
Billy... when you fix us...What happens to... "me"?

Billy pauses.

Billy: I don't know. But I know this: Blade loved. And Blade trusted. And all five of you reflect parts of him.

Parallax White looks down troubled.
